We are so excited! Dale and I will be cruising on the brand new Norwegian Bliss on November 3rd from Los Angles to Miami. This 14 night cruise takes us to Puerto Vallarts, Mexico; Manzanillo, Mexico; Pureto Quetzal, Guatemala; Puntarenas (Pureto Caldera), Costa Rico; a daylight transit through the Panama Canal; Cartagena, Colombia; and finally to Miami, Florida USA.
Crossing the Panama Canal is more than a journey – it is a rite of passage. Rolling hills, high mountains and riverbeds are just part of the gorgeous landscape you can explore when sightseeing in Costa Rica. Stroll along charming cobblestone streets in the colonial city of Antigua in Puerto Quetzal. And when you arrive in Cartagena, make sure you visit the largest Spanish fort in the New World – San Felipe de Barajas – built in the 17th century.
This is a Bucket List cruse for us so we spent near the high end of our price point ($100 to $150 per night per person). We call that our “comfort” price point and includes all port charges, taxes and fees, plus pre-paid gratuities and . . . drum roll please, the Unlimited Beverage Package. Now if you can show me a resort in the United States where I can get this much value, I will definitely check it out.
Our Bucket List cruise in April 2019 will be a 15 night cruise from Miami to Barcelona on the Norwegian Star. And in January 2020 we a planning to cruise from New York to San Fancisco on the Norwegian Gem for 20 days. We are excited about this cruise because the best cruise we ever had was on the Norwegian Gem. And of course there are a few other cruise sprinkled in for fun.
